Charee, Rachael, Annie, My sincere and deepest sympathy to you on the loss of Rick. He began as my Paramedic Preceptor all those years ago at Baton Rouge EMS. I remember when you were married and we were happy to be such good friends. Everyone was sad to see you move to Minnesota, but so proud of Rick for his accomplishments with Minneapolis PD, and the life you made there together. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him. May God bless you with strength and grace at this sad time.

Charee, Rachael and Annie.
Our sympathy goes out to you beautiful ladies on Rick's passing. Our kids brought us together and we are so blessed to have known him. Rick's laughter, trick or treating with Annie and Olivia, and his fabulous stories will be missed. We will be here for you whenever you need us. We love you and will keep you in our prayers.

I KNEW RICK WHEN HE WAS A EXPLORER SCOUT WITH THE NOPD 4TH DISTRICT. HE WAS A GOOD KID AND HAD A LONGING FOR POLICE WORK. I WAS A PATROLMAN AND HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO HAVE RICK RIDE WITH ME A FEW TIMES. MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS GO OUT TO HIS FAMILY. KEEP YOUR HEADS UP AND EYES ON THE LORD.

Jerri, just wanted to let you know how sorry I am for the loss of your brother, Rick. It's been a lot of years since high school, but I remember him as such a sweet and funny guy. Your family is in my prayers.

I met Rick at the Zachary Fire / Rescue when we where both young eager public servents. We shared some great times, particularly when we made the trip to Minn. for Tom's wedding. I will always remember the fun that we had. Charee and girls, I want you to know that Rick was a friend to many and will never be forgotten. God Bless You. Dan Wallis

Our condolences and prayers to the Wagenpfeil family. We will miss Rick terribly but take comfort in knowing that he is in the arms of the Lord and at peace. We pray you will also find comfort and strength in God.
