Not sure what to say?

I am a current student at NJIT. My heartfelt condolences to the family. Though I have never met Dr.York but hearing about him from various people meant so much to me and his life has been such a motivation for me in the fields of chemical engineering. You will always inspire us Dr. York. May your soul rest in peace

I will never forget the times that I spent chatting with Dr. York. Seeing him around campus was such an inspiration. He had a passion for life, creativity, and the welfare of the students. Thank you Dr. York for the life lessons and the memories.

I am a student at NJIT and met with Otto York on several occasions. I was lucky enough to witness just how unique and kind Otto was to those around him. I will forever be grateful to him for his generosity and sincerity. I extend my heartfelt sympathies to his family. His presence will always be remembered. May he rest in peace.

My condolences to Otto's family. He and I only met at NJIT board meetings. He was an impressive person. He gave you his family, the gift of a great intellect, longevity and a great personality. He shared the results of his gifts with all and we are better off for having known him.

Otto was also a Past Master of Maple Lodge (Masonic) in NJ. He was a true engineer as he would never allow anyone to prompt him during the ritual. He would pause and then the next part would to him and he would continue. I remember his as a young boy when he and Mirth would walk thru the center of town on a warm evening. Farwell.

Was deeply saddened to hear the news about the sudden death of York Otto H. I remember one time when I met him at NJIT during a summer job at Otto York Center for Environmental Engineering and Science . My thoughts are with all NJIT and his family during this difficult time. We are all in a state of shock. You are in my thoughts and prayers! Sincerely,

You will be remembered forever.

I was Otto's representative in Baton Rouge for over 20 years. We have lost a giant in our industry. He was a friend and a mentor and will be truely missed.
