In loving memory of a wonderful person. Best boss ever! Smart. Kind. Missed her so much after she retired, that we’d drive from Ohio to Savannah to visit & share news. Just as Mrs Thompson taught me to work & lead, she taught me a good path to retirement life: family, service, church & community. Melda & Thaeon & Keith — thank you for sharing your Mom with me — from 1974! I’m so grateful to have known her. When Bob died in 2002, I went to her for comfort, and value her words...

Special hugs to the grandchildren — she loved you & said your names with that love in...

I had the pleasure of working with Mrs Thompson many years ago. She was so kind and well respected. She had the best smile and laughter. Rest well in God's arms.

I was blessed to have worked with Mrs. Thompson many years ago at the County. She was the nicest down to earth Supervisor. She had the best smile and laughter. RIP

I remember Mrs. Quida ALWAYS smiling! Never a harsh word or mean look. Always kind and gracious, gentle spirit and lover of the Lord. God's promise 2u has been fulfilled! Well well done faithful Ma Peaches!

My beloved grandmommy will always be with me, heart & soul. Although I cannot imagine life going on without her, I am comforted that she is at perfect peace with our loving Savior and that one day we will meet again in paradise. There aren't enough words in the dictionary to express what a wonderful, strong, fun, and gracious woman she was. And there will never be enough water in the ocean to match the tears I've cried.

Love you forever and always Grandmommy!

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
