Ouida Lichtwardt Verizzo

I had the pleasure and honor to know Ouida mostly through her son, my best friend, David, but through the brief meetings I had with her when visiting Sarasota. I know the profound positive affect she had on those who knew her through personal experience and the many stories related to me by David. A life well lived and an inspiration to all who knew her. She and Walter are back together as they belong.

My thoughts are with you David, I wish I had met your parents.

Dear Joan, though I only knew your parents briefly I remember them as very lovely people. I know your mother truly valued the time and care you gave her. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Love to you in your time of sorrow.

I remember this fine Lady. She was my fifth grade teacher at Gocio Elementary school. She was my favorite. I am sorry to learn that she has past away and I will always remember her. I had the pleasure of meeting her son who was also my teacher in Jr. High school. He is just like his mom. Thank you for so much you have taught me Mrs. Virizzo. Rest in Peace. Linda S. Paul, We are very sorry that we never knew your mom. I am exhausted just reading about her accomplishments. It is too bad that the world is not filled with people like her.
