Oveta Pendergrast

Learning of Veta’s passing was a Big Pill to swallow. I’m still trying to comprehend this reality. I’m speechless and don’t know what I could say to ease her family’s pain.

She was a good Sista friend and I loved her feisty spirit! She took care of me when I was away from home for the first time. Her family embraced me and loved me like I was family. Thank you for always showing me kindness and sharing Oveta with me and the world.

To My Family Uncle Roosevelt, Aunt Shirley, Cousins Don, Bernard, and Tika, I am so sorry to hear of this news and I know you all are sadden by Veta's Passing but know that God is to wise to make a mistake. Take joy and comfort in knowing that one day we all shall see her again. Now is the time for the family to draw near to each other for we know that tomorrow is not promised. I love you all and you will always be in our prayers!!!!
