The Board of Trustees, Staff, and Volunteers of the Norwegian American Genealogical Center, Madison, mourn the death of their generous patron and long-time friend, Owen D. Bekkum. Owen supported the genealogy center as it became an independent organization in 2007 and for many years after. His counsel, generosity, and friendship will be greatly missed.
