I´ve known Owen since I joined the Mudd-Nick foundation and framed several pictures for him and Anne. What a great couple and what they did for their community. They´re are not enough words to say how much they will be missed.

Bill and family--I feel very fortunate to have met your amazing father and to have had a chance to talk with him about WW2, and of course the Beavers. What a wonderful life he had. Rest in peace Owen.

The Greatest Generation. Thank you for defending us in the worst war the world has ever known. Godspeed, Sir.

His obituary says it all. What a great man, husband, and father. Truly a role model for all. We will be greatly missed by all.

My wife and I always enjoyed being invited over to visit Ann and Owen for a scotch in Owen´s `museum´. We will all miss seeing Owen and his smile in his golf cart at the Manzanita Links.

Owen was my neighbor for 35 years. We were both Navy veterans who served on Destroyer Escorts and spend many hours talking about our navy memories. We served on the planning commission together and later when I was Mayor of Manzanita I often called on Owen for his advise. I will miss him.
