Not sure what to say?

I was a teacher at Brightwood School many years ago when I met Owen. He was such a nice man and had a wonderful sense of humor. He always made me laugh. Please accept my condolences, and know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Bonnie,Jack,Aiden and Emma, I was sorry to hear about your Dad and Grandfather. I only met him a few times but I recall you telling me how he brought the kids to school and was always there to help his family. I am so sorry I couldn't attend the services but I have been quite sick. May God Bless all of you and know you are in our thoughts and prayers. Love, Caroline, Tom , Benjamin and Lauren. Xoxo

I was so sorry to hear of the Owen's passing. I I was a colleague at the Springfield School Dept. and always enjoyed his terrific Irish sense of humor. It made many of my days at work better. My deepest condolences to the family. Rest in Peace, Owen.

Mr. O'NEIL, ever accepting of me no matter what I looked like. He was a great man who raised a great family. Godspeed Owen. Gonzo

To all of the O'Neil family,

I am so sorry to hear about Mr. O'Neil's passing. As a kid I found him to be a formidable figure on Gillette Ave; as I got older, I came to appreciate his dry humor. His kindness to my father in his last months will not be forgotten.

Tonight I will lift a glass in thanksgiving to the parents of Gillette Avenue, who raised us on a great street in a great neighborhood in a great time to be a kid. With your father's passing it truly feels like the end...

To all of the O'Neil family,
I was so deeply saddened to see the text message from Lydia about this just now. There are no words to express how sorry I am for you to lose your father. It is the end of an era on Gillette Avenue. We were lucky to have grown up when and where we did. I know how huge of a void your father's loss will leave in your lives. Please know that you will remain in our thoughts. I am glad to know that your father and my father are not only reunited with our mothers,...

We had the privilege to meet Owen, a truly intelligent and dignified gentleman, through our cousin, Judy.
We blended into a foursome for lunch ''meets'' in the Berkshires and occasional visits to our home in Vermont.
Owens' reserved demeanor initially belied his wit and humor he particularly enjoyed bestowing on Judy
(and me) all the while engaging rapport from another Irishman, my husband.
In between Owens stories and fun loving nature the four of us shared many laughs...

Your Family from the Attleboro District
Court, send our deepest sympathy. Rest in peace Mr. O'Neil.

Prayers to all of you. You were so lucky to have such a wonderful dad. I have been his neighbor and friend for many years. He was a real gentleman, my children loved seeing him in the yard and spent many hours talking with him. He was definitely one in a million and will be missed by all
