Not sure what to say?

I was honored to be part of the team at DuPont of the group he managed. He handled the group well, and was genuinely concerned for each member. As a mentor who helped us "push" the boundaries of science, we were always on the leading edge of discovery with his leadership. These memories linger for me and I'm sure for my fellow associates as well.

Your dad was one of the great ones, as you know.

Thinking of all of you,
Robin Chambers

Dear Anne, Ellen, and families,
I would like to express my condolences on the loss of your Dad. He and your Mom have left an incredible legacy of love and warmth to all those who knew them, and also through your families.
Sincerely, Andrea Ranauto Hagelstein

I was in the group Owen managed while at the Experimental Station. He was a fine manager in every way, always wanting the best for everyone under his leadership. My memories of him are fond indeed.

TO THE FAMILY OF OWEN, MY DEEPEST SYMPATHY.
I WORKED WITH OWEN FOR MANY YEARS AT THE EXPER. STATION. HE WAS A GREAT CHEMIST AND A FINE GENTLEMAN. HE WILL SURLY BE MISSED.
WE HAD SOME GREAT TIMES ON THE GOLF COURSE,THAT I'LL NEVER FORGET.
REST IN PEACE OWEN.

To my best friend, Mary Kate, and your family,

My sincerest sympathy for the loss of your father. He was such a wonderful, amazing, kind and fun loving man. He always greeted people with a smile and loved to laugh. I will miss this about him, as will all the other people whose lives he touched. I feel honored to have spent time with Owen and all of your family over the years. God bless my prayers are with all of you during this time.

May your memories of the wonderful times you shared with your loved one comfort you and your family, today and always.

Dear Kate, Jim and family, this is a crushing loss for you all and my sympathy to everyone. He raised a wonderful family who are a beautiful reflection of your parents. What little I know about his career is amazing and back then there were only 10 to 12 employees who obtained that prestigious honor of being named a DuPont Fellow. Truly remarkable career and family.
Take comfort in knowing that your family is Loved by so many people and that you will never be alone in these sad days....

Kate and Family,
So sorry for the loss of your wonderful father. I enjoyed having a little Irish Wiskey with him at the Christmas party.
