Not sure what to say?

Ozell Sutton was so important to Arkansas role in civil rights. He came to Jonesboro High in 1971 to speak to our class. The Jonesboro Council on Human Relations was a branch of the Arkansas Council that Ozell led. I was also proud of his leadership role in Alpha Phi Alpha, a prestigious organization of American men.

I had the great pleasure of being first a neighbor when he lived next door to my brother, then his secretary when he was the Special Assistant to Governor Rockefeller of Arkansas. Many years after that he would dazzle the faculty and staff at UT Health Science Center as the headliner at our Black history program. His whole family was always very gracious to me. I can't say enough about him Joanne, Angela, Tena and DeJo.

Rest in peace my brother. Condolences to the Sutton Family.
