Seth - Prairie Avenue Haunted Tour 2005

I had the opportunity to meet Seth in the home prior to his recent move, he is quite a guy to know, i wish i had gotten more opportunity with him, you will be sadly missed now that i found out you have gone into the light.

I had known Seth for about 4-5 years... we had shared many good times together hangin out with friends, doing the bike tour of historic homes, playing the game RISK... i havent seen him in about 12 yrs and was completely devastated to learn of his passing. he will be deeply missed. my condolences to his family. we love ya Seth!!!!

I am schocked and saddened to learn of Seth Magosky's death. Last summer I was inquirying of the City of Joliet (via email) to learn if my greatgrandfather's house was still standing at 225 Hickory Street, after finding the address on the back of an old photo of the house. Within an hour, he emailed me.

It was so fun as we enlightened each other on what we knew about the Krakar descendants.

He has been on my mind lately and my daughter and I even spoke about his book...

Candy, Pat & Family, We were saddened by the untimely death of your son Seth. Accept out deepest condolences. Unfortunately we were not able to attend the services. A donation will be made to the Joliet Historical Preservation Society according to Seth's wishes. We are all thinking of you at this time and keeping you in our prayers. Cousins Bob, Pat & Pam, and Susie.

I am deeply saddened to hear of Seth's passing. He was truly a kind and gentle person. It was my fortune to have known him the past ten years or so. Seth truly had a passion for life. I will miss his soft, kind voice.

I never had the honor of meeting his family, but my heartfelt sympathy goes to them. Seth was a truly remarkable person and I'm grateful that he came into my life.

I only met Seth briefly at Glessner House at Halloween, but he taught me a great deal. He had a very tactile sense of history that made it come alive from the inside.

Seth was a truly special man.The ammount of knowledge he possessed and loved to share was remarkable. He had such a wonderful gift, an infectious enthusiasm for history and architecture, and used it in a way that benefited us all! We have all suffered a loss;he is gone far,far too soon. My sincere condolences to his family.Seth, you will be sadly missed, but fondly remembered.
