I second what my brother John said about Jeanne. I'm late to the neighborhood, only knowing Jeanne and Bruce since 1993. Both always had a good word or a high sign to give when we would see each other (they were across Wilbard Street from us). Jeanne enjoy St. Luke which has a wonderful program for seniors, who call their group JOY: Just Older Youth. Jeanne always shows and expressed joy, yet another reason why she will be missed.

It is with regret that we cannot gather and share great memories of Jeannie. I met Jeannie in 2000 on a bicycle; I was the beginner and Jeannie was the seasoned one. We spent many hours and trips together; Jeannie leading and me in tow. She was a wonderful mentor and I'll never forget her on her bike sharing stories and good times all over the Northwest and Canada. Dianne sherman
