Pablo Perales

Pablo Cuellar Perales Sr.

July 12, 1929 - December 11, 2023

Pablo C. Perales, 94 years of age, went to be with our Lord Jesus, Monday December 11, 2023. He was born on July 12, 1929, in the small city of Linares, in Nuevo Len, Mexico. In 1956 he moved to the United States, to seek a better life for his family. He worked as a migrant farmworker for many years until he was employed by John Ingles Frozen Foods in Santa Maria for the next 18 years until he retired.

He worked very hard throughout his life to get everything he wanted for his family. He was a man with integrity and raised his children to have a strong work ethic. Without him leading the way, our family wouldn't be here. It took a tremendous amount of courage and strength and we are forever grateful for the opportunities we have because of him. His hobbies and interests included leatherwork and upholstery, making bags, buying new vehicles, and collecting fine jewelry.

He is preceded in death by his wife Viola Casas Perales, his mother Dolores Cuellar Perales and siblings Osvaldo, Amelia, Gualberto, and Flor Estella.

Pablo is survived by his sister, Dolores C. Perales-Alejandro (Jose Luis), and his children, Maria A Perales-Perez (Pedro) Pablo Perales Jr., SanJuanita Perales Lopez (Albert), Jose Luis Perales (Ida), Imelda Casas Perales, Hctor Casas Perales (Dena), Noelia Casas Perales-Velasco (Gilbert). 22 Grandchildren and 23 Great-Grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Santa Maria Foursquare Church, 709 N. Curryer St. Santa Maria, CA 93458. Friday, December 29, 2023 at 10:00 a.m.

Burial service will immediately follow at the Santa Maria Cemetery on the north grounds.

A reception will immediately follow the burial service and will be located at the Veterans Hall 313 W. Tunnell St., Santa Maria, CA 93458
