Pablo Alvarez Torres

Pablo Alvarez Torres, 90, of Midland, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 surrounded by his family. Pablo was born on February 16, 1927 to Pascual and Ignacia (Alvarez) Torres in Lockhart, Texas. He spent much of his years in Midland where he worked as a farmer. On Sunday July 16, 2017, a visitation will start at 10:00 a.m., with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. at the Ellis Funeral Home Chapel. A Mass will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, July 17, 2017 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Arrangement are by Ellis Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Gilbert Martinez, Sammy Martinez, Christopher Martinez, Manuel Martinez, Tony Martinez, and James Cole, with the honorary pallbearer being Willie Martinez. Pablo was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Joe Torres and Raul Torres; and sisters, Beatrice Torres, Dora Rodgers, Lupe Martinez, and Ofelia Alvarez.
