I was a long-time patient of Dr. McGirr's in the 1980's. I remained his patient until he retired. He was a wonderful Doctor. I found him to be patient, a good listener, calm and upbeat. I saw his obituary in the newspaper. I will remember him as a good man and a great Doctor. My deepest sympathy to the McGirr family.

To Karen & all your family. I'm so sorry for your loss. I know you will miss your father very much. I remember all the times we spent at your house after school. Your dad would always check on us and make sure we were doing good. Please get it touch with me when you are feeling up to it. My deepest sympathies to you & your family. Michele

I am very sorry to have seen such a fine man to be mentioned in this area. I went to school with Michael, and Mary. I had stayed the night and met Lauren and Karen. Your mom had made the most delicous chicken dinner. Mary and everyone I hope that you can deal with the loss. May The Good Lord be with you at this time.

WHAT A WONDERFUL DOCTOR HE WAS FOR US AT KAISER. WE STILL SPEAK OF HIM WITH SUCH PLEASANT MEMORIES.WE SAW HIM FROM TIME TO TIME AFTER HIS RETIREMENT AND ALWAYS TOLD HIM WE MISS HIM. WE ARE VERY SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS AND HOPE THE KIND MEMORIES OF HIM WILL LAST FOREVER.

Only smiles fill my heart when I think of you all. Although it's been many years, time does not diminish what the heart keeps dear. I may cry for now, but I will smile forever when I think of the clan McGirr.
