Not sure what to say?

To the Baker family,
Please accept my deepest condolences on your loss. I am one of the many, many nurses taught and touched by Pam through TNCC and ENPC programs. I met her there and was always glad to see her at other ENA gatherings as well. I am sorry for your loss but so very grateful for the contributions she made because I know she made a difference which is the true measure of a successful life. Thank you for having shared her with all of us at ENA. Bobbi-Jean Plummer

Mike, Jenny and family, I am so very sorry to hear that Pam has left this earth. She impacted everyone who knew her. I wish I had some magic words to ease the pain, but there are none. May you both see her again some day in our eternal home. love peg wagner REACT

I was saddened to hear about the loss of such a wonderful colleague. Pam made such an impact on emergency nursing in so many ways. Her expertise will go on forever each time one of us cares for a trauma patient. I pray that time will help your pain and sadness lessen. I will forever be grateful for all that Pam did for ENA.

I am so shocked and saddened to learn of Pam's death. I have known Pam for over 15 years. I appointed her Chair of the Education Committee for Illinois ENA in 1990 when I was state president. She went on to be awarded the Educator of the Year designation that next year from national ENA which led to her position with the Education Dept. at national ENA. I worked with her on the ENPC/TNCC committees and taught many, many ENPC and TNCC courses with her. She was truly a wonderful, kind, well...

Memories of our thousands of phone calls and actually being on the phone for five hours at a time are now so incredibly precious. A preciousness to treasure but one I wish did not have to be realized. I loved Pam Baker and all she meant to the education of emergency nurses. Jen, my daughter is Jen also and a ballet dancer and how your mother and I would share our pride of you both. May you dance towards life with the beauty and love of your mother in your heart. The sadness of her death is...

Dear Jen and Mike,
Your Mom, and my friend and colleague Pam, most certainly left her mark on this world, as well as on our hearts. I've known your Mom since we shared stories about our "babies" and your milestones at about a zillion ENA meetings. We each brought coloring books and crayons to the meetings - balancing nursing and family throughout the years. Pam's emergency nursing expertise, her patience, caring, tolerance, and wisdom were willingly shared with those lucky enough to...

I am in shock and disbelief at Pam's untimely passing. She had such an impact on everyone who worked with her. She opened doors for me in my career that would otherwise never have been opened. I will be forever grateful to her and for having the opportunity to work with her. I will always remember her and will miss her deeply. My sincerest sympathy to her family. This is a huge loss to the emergency nursing community.
