Pamela Kay Holmes, 61, of Clinton, IL, formerly of Decatur, IL passed away on Wednesday (Dec 25, 2013) in St. Mary's Hospital. A service to celebrate Pam's life will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday (Dec. 30, 2013) at Dawson & Wikoff West Wood St. Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 6:45 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to the American Heart Association. Pam was born on January 22, 1952 in St. Mary's the daughter of the late Floyd and Dorothy (Frazee) Eversole. She was married to her best friend Jeffery S. Holmes on August 24, 1966. She was a Registered Respiratory Therapist and loved her job and helping people. She also was an artist including stained glass, knitting, photography, quilting and her birthday cakes. Pam was a wonderful cook as well. Survivors include her husband; two sons: Jeremy (Kimberly) Holmes of Clinton, IL and Dylan Holmes of Clinton, IL; five grandchildren: Bayleigh, Brock, Bryce, Gage and Arianna Holmes; one brother: Steve (Kris) Eversole of Decatur, IL; Latisha Pride (Gage's Mom) and Emily Kitchens (Arianna's Mom); several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; as well as many relatives and friends also survive. My Best Friend, My Lover, My Wife left this world last night to be with Jesus. RIP Pam Holmes. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.dawson-wikoff.com.
