Pamela Dempsey Payne, 51, of Lake Bluff, died at home Oct. 11, 2010. Mother of Dana Payne; daughter of Mead and Janel Payne; sister of Mead (Connie) Payne; aunt of Grace and Mead Payne. I just want Pam's family to know that I think of Pam all the time. At work the other day I was just telling a story of a funny thing that happened. She was a lovely person and a good friend. I still think of her and miss her a lot.

Pam was one of a kind. I will miss her and our hilarious conversations. She made work a lot more fun, and she will be sorely missed. She raised a wonderful daughter and she will always be remembered. My thoughts are with Dana and the rest of her family.
