Been thinking back to my high school years lately, and when I think of my teachers, I remember you fondly and the tools that you empowered me with (which I was unaware of at the time) and am forever grateful to you for these and thank you eternally for. I remember you today and always.

Phoebe, I don't think you will remember me. I met Pam in the writing program at BU in 1976. There were four women in the program, which meant the four of us became close and were very supportive of each other as writers. As happens far too often, we drifted apart over the years. I still use the tools that you taught me about symbolism and metaphors in stories when I watch films, tv, read books. You gave me what was like an xray vision and challenged me to be a better writer. I will always remember you and the discussions in your classes. Be free now as you are no longer limited to the Earth and one with the universe.
