Not sure what to say?

My deepest sympathy to Dr. Roper's family. I first met Dr. Roper in the ladies OR locker room of St. Joseph Hospital. What a stunningly beautiful woman I thought to myself. As I got to know her while I was a surgery intern there, I soon realized what inner beauty and intelligence Pam had as well. I am saddened to recently read of her untimely passing and wish her family much comfort in memories of her.

Oh, Sweet Pam Roper, May You Rest in Peace.
How fortunate for me to have Pam as my first boss out of college. We worked in cancer research @ M.D.Anderson, she was a grad. student, we published several papers together. She was an encourager, a brillant lady filled with kindness and a heart of gold.
May God bless Pam's family and friends and may all find comfort in His supernatural peace.
Bonnie Bobo Savoy, D.D.S.

Pam was the older sister of my best friend, Vickie Karp. I practically lived at their home as a teenager. Most older sisters would dismiss their younger sister's friends but Pam always treated me with kindness and showed interest anytime I wanted to have a conversation with her. I always thought she was the smartest girl I had ever met.As I came to know her as an adult I knew her as an intelligent, loving, generous in spirit and in her actions incredibly amazing woman. Heaven is richer and...

Pam and I met at Lamar in the 60's.We ran into each other at Tech and she often would come up to my dorm room to rest ,since she lived off campus. She worked as an assistant to DrRose in the Biology Dept. and even talked him into giving me the Cat zo test orally since I had such a hard time taking the tests!I Passed! Pam was a dear. She visited with my younger sister about scoliosis and they both used Dr. Dixon .I just saw the little blurb in the paper this am.I shared our story with my...

I worked with Miss Pamela in her home for almost 10 years. She was such a lovely lady always. She was kind and generous to me always. When my family came from Mexico, she was one of the only people I wanted them to meet. I loved her very much and I miss her every day. I am so grateful she was my friend. She will always be my angel. Love, Lucy

One of the most generous people I have ever know. Never a unkind word was heard about or from Pam. The medical field has lost a brilliant surgeon. My personal life was blessed by knowing her.

Pam was our neighbor in 1998 and she was so caring and giving and fun. We missed her when she moved. Our memories of that time will always be with us. We hope her family will be comforted by happy memories too.

I met Pam at my apartment swimming pool several years ago when she was a med student. She was an intelligent, interesting person with a great personality and love of life. Even though we did not keep in touch in later years, i have always remembered visiting with this beautiful vibrant person. My sympathies are with her family at this sad time and am sure that all of you have many good memories of her.

Dr. Roper, I did not get to see or speak to you often; however, I will certainly miss your presence in the Cherryhurst Neighborhood. Rest well on your Journey. Your Neighbor, Stan McDonald
