Pam's parents and my parents were great friends throughout the years, her mom was one of my mother's best friends, having met when they were young mothers growing their families. When Pam's mom suddenly passed away, it broke my mother's heart and I don't think my mom ever got over that loss, a feeling I'm sure that will be mirrored by Pam's friends and loved ones.
