Not sure what to say?

Ms. Vanderbee was my 1st grade teacher at Townline Elementary. I have a lot of fond memories of her as my teacher. I remember she casually introduced the word "Stop" to the class upon me messing with some boy next to me. She wrote it on the board in chalk and I remember that was probably directed at me. LOL She was very sweet and I visited her decades later after graduating from GVSU with my teaching certificate. She was helpful and it brought Back a lot of warm childhood...

Pam was an absolute treasure. She had such a pure, kind heart and cared so deeply for everyone in her life. She helped me through some of the hardest times in my life and always checked in on me no matter how absent in getting back to her I was. She made sure I knew she was thinking about me. I will miss our conversations. My thoughts and sympathy go out to her family. She is in now heaven celebrating with her lord and savior.

I was blessed to know Pam was a fellow Stephen Minister. She was always thoughtful in her comments and helped me grow in being more considerate of other's perspectives. She was so caring and always looking to how she could serve others first. She will be deeply missed. I am praying for peace and comfort for her family and friends.

Pam was a member of my Small Group at Kentwood Community Church. We lost another Member, Lorraine, a few years ago. I am sure both Pam and Lorraine were welcomed with open arms. "Well done, good and faithful servants."

I was so sorry to learn of Pams passing. She was a dear friend who was part of my life at New Life Reformed Church, Kentwood Public Schools, Cornerstone Church, and Stephen Ministry! She had the wonderful gift of teaching young children, and reaching out to everyone!! She was an encourager, a listener, and a sharer of her deep faith! We will miss you Pam, but know that you are loving Heaven and all that it offers.

Ms. VanderBee was such a great teacher when i was in her class in 1987, that my family still talks about her all these years later. We love her forever. <3

I remember having Mrs. Vanderbee as my teacher at townline school, such a wonderful person and taught me well the compassion she had for each student was evadent.

She was my teacher when I was very young! I remember her so well, she was such a nice lady

Pam was an amazing person and I am grateful to God for giving me the opportunity to have met her. Whenever she would stop in to get her car washed I knew that if I wasn't having a good day after spending even the slightest amount of time with her I would be after that. God gave her a big heart and she shared it with almost everyone she met, I'm glad I was one of the people blessed enough to of had that chance.
