Not sure what to say?

As a family friend, and then to become one of my favorite people in HS as we sang and traveled together on choir tours, I have and will continue to treasure our friendship forever. Paolo and I had re-connected in our early forties as pen pals and shared with each other our personal tragedies with our daughters. I was concerned that he might loose his life to a broken heart then, but his love of life prevailed. To live every day and to not put things off is truly a shared motto to live by. We...

The memorial at Woodbury Friends Meeting House was lovely. It was so hot, though, I didn't want to prolong things with my memories of Paolo. When I needed a place to stay, he took me to his home. When people were hungry, he made sure they were fed. We planned to sail around the world, and he got the closest to that dream. Paolo Im glad youre with Sierra and Narcissa, Grandmom and everyone else who passed. Thanks for the memories we shared. I wish i could hear more but some day i will. Im gonna miss seeing you but please check on me once in a while. Make sure we are all doing what makes us happy like you always managed to do for yourself. In 1974-75 I was in 10th grade. Fred Latshaw and I shared a Latin class as well as choir. Paolo was in choir but was in the bass section. Fred and I were tenors. Paolo was always surrounded by a gaggle of friends whereas I was rather quiet and shy. One day, Fred knew that I played guitar and thought that I was rather good. Fred told me that his friend Paolo also played guitar but was in a rut and wasn't sure that he wanted to continue. Fred suggested that I should go over to Paolo's and...

In 1974-75, I was in 10th grade. Fred Latshaw and I shared a Latin class as well as Choir and were becoming friends. Paolo was in Choir as well but sat over in the bass section whereas Fred and I were tenors. Fred knew that I was a guitar player and told me that he had a friend who was learning guitar and that he wasn't sure he wanted to continue. He was in a rut. Fred suggested that I should go over and jam with Paolo and maybe show him a few things that might get Paolo going again. I...
