Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry that Parkie Barr is gone, she was such a nice person....very glad I got to meet her...

MARTY, THIS IS YOUR LOSS AND HEAVEN'S GAIN. ONE DAY MARTY YOU WILL SEE HER AGAIN .EACH SUNDAY I WOULD TELL HER HOW BEAUTIFUL SHE WAS AND HOW MUCH I LOVED HER ,SHE ALWAYS HAD A SMILE FOR EVERYONE .PRAYING FOR YOU MARTY . HANG IN THERE JESUS IS COMING SOON AND IT WON'T BE LONG.

Marty, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. I know you were very close with her. You are in my prayers.

Marty, Thanks to your mom and family I had wonderful childhood memories at Barr's Swimming Pool. When I hear those old songs from the 60's, it brings back memories of going to the pool where I remember them playing on the jukebox. She was such a sweet lady and will definitely be missed!

What a lovely lady! It was an honor to have spent a little time with her.
Glad she is in a beautiful place now with all of her loved ones who have gone ahead. God Bless all of you in her family, I know she will be greatly missed by every one of you.

Marty, I am very sorry to read about Parkie. She was loved by many and mom thought the world of her. God bless you and be comforted that she and mom are probably yapping right now. I am falling apart and have a Drs appointment tomorrow a m . I will call you next few days.

I am so sorry for your loss. Me like so many others from Ranlo, Lowell, Spencer Mtn.grew up at "Barrs". Marty taught me to swim when i was 5. After that it was almost all day everyday at the pool. Swimming, playing, and eating an awesome burger & fries. If you cut up too much Parkie would keep you in line and we all respected that. In many ways you all helped raise the rest of us. Parkie will be missed but, remembered for the many wonderful childhood memories "at the pool".

We are so sorry for your loss. Parkie, Kathy and Stanley gave us kids in the area a great place to swim, learn and enjoy life. I have so many wonderful memories growing up at the swim club. The Barr family should be very proud of what they gave to the community in the way of a safe place to spend a long hot summer in the cool mountain water.
And if you paid attention, Parkie would teach you something about life and manners and then feed you some of the best fries you could buy.
I...

Marty so sorry to hear about your Mom. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.

I went to Holbrook High with you... Judy Rash Halfon
