Parks Henderson Hunter

Dear Hazel -

I wanted to spend more time with you and Mr. Hunter at the anniversary and later at Pop's funeral. You and Parks have been so kind to our family and very dear to our Mom and Pop's heart. Pop would always mention when he saw you two and how he liked Parks so much. That smile you both kept says all anyone would need to know about a person. Please don't let your smile slip away. Just know that everything passes through God's loving hands. That is the believer's comfort.

Dear Hazel and Lesley,
We remember with great fondness Parks Hunter and his family. He and his family were always supportive of Tom's ministry at Cole Memorial, 1974-1979. You could always depend on Parks and know that his word was good. People like all of you certainly strengthed Tom's ministry. We appreciated and cared for you.

We are so sorry to hear about Parks. Mother thought the funeral was Saturday. Someone called her,and she didn't understand, but wants you to know we love you and care about you. I am sorry to learn of Parks' death. You enjoyed many years together and I hope that many good memories of those years will ease you and your family in your time of grief.

Parks Hunter was one of the most gentle, kind and loving man that the world has ever encountered. His life was a true example of Christian living and giving. He was loved by all who knew him and was a valued relative with the kindest smile and quiet demure. Our love to Hazel for her devotion and love to Parks and for all she means to our family.
