Dear Mary Jane and Family,
We were deeply saddened to hear about the loss of your father. Though the time we spent in his presence was few, our memories of him remain forever. He was a good man, accomplished professional, and loving father who truly lived for his family. Mary Jane, we know the special relationship you and your father shared makes this loss for you even more difficult to except, but it also offers you the most meaningful and beautiful memories of the time you shared. We will keep all of you in our prayers and ask God to provide you and your family with comfort during this difficult time.
All Our Love,
Nick Mary & Chris

It was a privilege to know and work with Dr Santagata over many years. We faced many challenges, middle of the nigh call's and pizza fritta parties in the OR. Pat was funny, kind and so skilled at what he did. Our family members were often in his care -he treated them with respect and had a full understanding of their importance in our lives. He treated them understanding what it meant to us to have him stand at the head of the table. And one of the greatest of many gifts he gave us was laughter. I am forever grateful and will always miss him. To his loving MaryJane and family, thank you for sharing this beloved man with us.

I too was lucky to have enjoyed playing bocce with Dr. Pat all those years. Once when in the hospital for minor surgery, when brought into the or, Dr. Pat, smiled and said, I saw you were on the roster, so I am here for you. I told him I hope his aim is better than at bocce that week! God bless him.
My sincere condolences to your family.

I had seen Pat this past year and I'm so sorry to now hear of his passing. I worked with him in St Joe's O.R. and being on call with one of the best anesthesiologists ever ,was a pleasure. He was a hard working dedicated physician and an extraordinary "good guy". My condolences to all his family.
