Pastor Walter F. Houston was born on October 27, 1945 in Port Arthur, Texas and passed on April 8, 2021 in Houston, Texas. He leaves to cherish his memory a loving and devoted wife of 52 years, Gladys Houston, two daughters: Tonya and Shonda Houston, a loving mother-in-law, Selena Thompson, a devoted brother, Isiah Houston (Evelyn), five step-brothers, seven step-sisters, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, friends, and The Fourth Missionary Baptist Family whom he called “The Best Church This Side of Heaven.”


A Celebration of Life Honoring PASTOR WALTER F. HOUSTON, will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2021; at Fourth Missionary Baptist Church, 2710 Webster; Houston, Texas 77004. Viewing from 9:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. and Service at 11:00 a.m. Interment Houston Memorial Gardens.
