Pastor William Drew Smith, Sr. of Warner Robins, Georgia, formerly of Americus, Georgia, died Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at City of Hope in Newnan, Georgia.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 10:00 AM in the sanctuary of the Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Warner Robins, Georgia. The burial will follow at the Magnolia Park Cemetery in Warner Robins, Georgia.

William and I went to Boys State in Atlanta in the school year 70/71 sponsored by the American Legion Post 558. He from Americus High and me from Union High. We became friends and both of us pastors . Rest in peace my friend.
