My name is Thomas W. Fuentes student of Mr.DeMeo from 1959-61,NYSP. He was a major influence in my attitude in life and my success. After my graduation I stayed in conact with him and Janet his beloved wife. They came to visit me on a vacation to southern California and stayed in our home for a week. I will never forget our conversations on life and politics. Always respectful of our differences. He was my male idol as I was a teenager. He helped me get through troubling times with my father....

Our sincerest condolences to the DeMeo Family. Mr. DeMeo (Sarge) was my shop teacher at the New York School of Printing in 1962 & 1963. I remember driving Mr. DeMeo home to Staten Island a few times when he was teaching night classes at NYSP. I feel very fortunate that my wife and I were able to meet with Mr.DeMeo and his daughter last year, 60 years after I graduated from NYSP in 1963. Reminisced many great memories at NYSP. I graduated from the New York school of printing in 1981. I knew Pat Demeo the principal, and I had his brother John as a shop teacher. Two great people. May both of them rest in peace.
