Pat Holcombe

The gang on Santa Barbara Avenue have alot of great memories of Pat Holcombe. We had the run of the neighborhood and some of our best memories were on those warm summer days at the Holcombe pool! Pat rarely turned us down, and even when she did, we managed to send another kid up to the door to ring the "big" bell to see if she'd change her mind - and most of the time she did! Whether it was swimming in the pool, baking cookies with her,or helping around her house for some extra spending...

Pat was a great lady. I delivered the Call-Bulletin to their house for years. We were neighbors, all us kids enjoyed her hospitality on hot summer days. God Bless Pat!
