Pat "Coach" James

My deepest sympathy to Cindy and Mike. I worked for Pat James at the Full Moon BBQ (Southside) for 5 years with his nephew Wynn Elliott. I enjoyed working for Pat and Eloise they were family for me since my family was in Ohio and I had no family there in Alabama. What I remember the most about Pat was his smile and the twinkle in his eye. His eyes spoke to you with out him saying a word. It was a pleasure to know and work for Pat James. My sympathy for the James family. Always enjoyed meeting Pat for lunch and just having small talk about fishing etc. Pat will be missed by many whom have learned from him. My friend was an extraordinary man whom had lots of respect for others and loved his family and friends. Pat you shall never suffer pain again, because God will take care of you now... my friend always. Your pal...Dave

We just came home from Chicago today and heard of Pat's death. We were so sorry although you did not meet Wayne who I married 2 years ago. Lise (Beech) and Wayne Wilson

We have fond memories of Pat from Full Moon. Football season was the best with the football pots. And you know he had the best BBQ in town and the hot slaw made the difference.Too bad retirement was too short for both of them.You don't have to wonder what he is doing right now--TALKING TO ANYONE & EVERYONE

saddened to hear of pat's passing. he was a good man with alot of stories.
