Pat and Ann Nagano were the dearest family friends anyone could wish for. We shared many holidays, vacations and special days together and I deeply treasure all of those memories. Pat is one of a kind; he will be deeply missed.

I was saddened to hear of the passing of Pat Nagano. He is one who had a special place in my heart and in my life. He is largely how I came to SLO. I am so so sad to learn this wonderful person is gone. He was so inportantant to me in my life. I first knew him as a parent to my classmate Rick and father to Karen. He presented me with my High School diploma. Years later I worked for him and truly got to know the special person he was. I learned so much from him, not just technically, but his ethichs, values, love, loyality, and pride of his family. This humble, yet great man and I became friends and I will always treasure the time...

Pat and Ann welcomed me into their home, as Rick and I were close friends as young boys. They taught me to eat with chop sticks, and introduced me to sorting and packing of artichokes in the packing barn on the Nagano farm. I can also remember the "Little Red Hen" produce shed on the N.E. corner of Hwy. 41 and Ironwood Street where they sold good fresh produce. I have many fond memories of that family. They were very gracious and hard working folks.

I don't know exactly how to explain what a special part Pat played in my life..our families had a very special bond born of mutual admiration and respect. We enjoyed each others company; he was one of my favorite fellas. I will miss our visits...holding you all in my heart.
