Sam, Pat was one of my favorites. I enjoyed playing golf with him as well as listening to him tell stories. I was just thinking about him the other day, wondering how he was doing. I always remembered his special Valentine Day Birthday. A true gentleman that will be missed by many. Ditto Tom and Alex.

Dear Carolyn, Dede, and Sam,
Thank you all for including my dad Sam Beard as an honorary pall bearer for your father's memorial this Friday. We all know how much of life these two shared as "brothers," best friends, and kindred spirits. It's a sad time, and it is a time to celebrate one of the best lives ever lived. I'll be there with a box of Kleenex and open arms for lots of hugs....I love you all!

I have known Mr Patterson virtually all my life. I have always thought he was one of the finest gentlemen I have had the privilege of knowing. He was a wonderfully sweet and pleasant man. I have missed seeing him the last few years and often wondered how he he was fairing. I will miss him as much as any of my parents friends. He was a treasure!
