Not sure what to say?

Kathy, I am both saddened while lost for words in Pat's passing. Pat was my icon when I qualified for gold and platinum team several years ago. He always made himself available to bounce ideas or share personal experiences as one of the top advisors with our company. I can think of only a handful of people in my 25 yrs with the company that has had a lasting impression in my life. I considered it a privlege to know the two of you and the enjoyment my wife and I had @ each Pac conference....

I was saddened to see the notice of Pat's passing in a Canadian newspaper while on vacation this week. I send my sympathies to his family for their great loss but also to those people who never had the opportunity to be exposed to such a "Gentleman of Great Integrity."
It's sad that the life of such a role model was cut so short. Perhaps Lefty McFadden needed some goaltending in heaven and met him at the gate.
Pat's family is fortunate to have many wonderful memories of him and...

My family and I our so very sadden for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. God Bless you.

Kathy, kids, Barb, Joan, Jerry, Kitty and Aunt Jen:
It has been years since I have seen any of you, since Uncle Lou`s funeral. My sisters, brother and I were saddened to hear of Pat`s passing. We all send our deepest sympathy and will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

Pat was one of the "Good Guys".

After my father died in 1970, Pat helped my mother take care of financial details. It was comforting to see a man helping our family get back on course after our long ordeal with my dad's cancer. I used to sit in the family room and watch Pat & my mom discussing finances around our little kitchen table. As a teenager at the time, I was in awe of his athletic achievements and - his HUGE hands. Pat had the most powerful-looking hands I had ever...

Dear Kathy, We are so sorry for your loss, our loss. Pat was a very good friend, a real professional in business, a wonderful athlete and a true supporter of our community. He is really missed by his tennis buddies.

Pat is remembered as a true GEM - one of a kind, multi-faceted; a loving family man filled with pride for his wife Kathy and his family;a loyal friend, a team player, a community leader, the consummate professional businessman. We wish Kathy and family much strength at this difficult time. We miss Pat! With love, Alan & Lynda

To Kathy and the kids,
On behalf of all of the members, past and present, of Megacity Hockey Club, I offer no less than or deepest, heartfelt sympathy, we are terribly sorry for your loss.
“Ruppy” was definitely one of a kind. He lent prestige to our league.
Forever, the answer to questions about our Megacity Hockey Club were answered; “well, we have a former United States Olympian playing with us” as if that somehow elevated us to yet another level.
To us, what...

Rupp family,
So very sorry to learn of Pat's passing. Many years ago as a rink rat and goalie I idolized Pat Rupp as did many kids. As a Junior Gems goalie, Pat taught me so much about goaltending. He was kind and generous with his time. I have a pair of his old goalie skates given to me by Gem's trainer which I wore for many years. I will remember our games as "old timers" in Troy back in the 80s and the show we put on at Goggins Ice Arena against a group of old timers there. Until next...
