Slaughter, Pat Dean
69, born on May 17, 1945, in Phoenix, Ariz., the son of Pat and Virginia (Edwards) Slaughter, passed away on January 14, 2015 in Prescott, Ariz. Pat was an avid family man and all of his life participated in family activities. He started out at a young age building and flying gliders with his father. He enjoyed many fishing trips, baseball, hunting, boating, horses, racing cars, and the last 25 years restoring and pulling classic and antique tractors. He was President of the Mile High Tractor Club for 12 years. There was never a man more dedicated to his endeavors as Pat Slaughter. Pat was predeceased by his mother, Virginia Slaughter; father, Pat Slaughter; and brother Lanny Slaughter. He is survived by his wife, Kaye Slaughter; sons, Pat and Paul Slaughter; daughter, Deana Dowling; granddaughter, Caitlyn Dowling; grandson, Evan Dowling, and his beloved dog, Sheila. An informal Celebration of Life is scheduled for: Sunday, January 25, 2015 at 2:00p.m., at Mortimer Family Farm (The 47 Barn), 12907 Arizona 169, Dewey, Ariz. 86327 Memorials can be made to the American Heart Association.
