Jackson –Patricia Fay Whaley, 72 of Jackson, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.


Pat, daughter of Carter and Clessie Myrick Davis, was born on Sunday, September 27, 1951 in Gideon, Missouri. 


Pat retired from USPS where she was a mail clerk for many years.


On June 21, 2003, she was united in marriage to Harold Michael Whaley. He preceded her in death on April 1, 2022. 


Her survivors include, two sons, Stephen Goin of Risco and Danny Goin and wife, LeeAnn of Jackson, Missouri; two daughters, Cindy Cunningham of Clinton, Louisiana and Angie Holloway and husband, Jeremy of Malden; eight grandchildren, Logan Cunningham, Cody Goin, Corey Goin, Josh Holloway, Jake Holloway, Jared Roth, Nolan Roth and Carter Goin; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Joyce Julian and husband, Eddie of Orlando, Florida and Janet Heise of Malden and several nieces and nephews. 


In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Carter Davis, Jr. and Harry Davis and sister, Charlotte Whalen.


Visitation will be Tuesday, August 27, 2024 from 5 – 7 P.M. at Landess Funeral Home in Malden with memorial services directly following at 7:00 P.M. 


Landess Funeral Home and Crematory of Malden is in charge of the arrangements.
