Not sure what to say?

I was thinking of Pat the other day when I saw the pair of mink bears she made for me from a coat. She was so sweet and fun to talk with, and SO talented. I remember her very fondly.

I have thought of Pat numerous times recently. I remember the time she lived with us in Kalamazoo, the shows she designed with me, our visit with her in London, and her help with research on Henry James Finn. She is missed.

My sympathy to Hal William and Jon, and all the others who loved Pat. I loved spending time with her, and continue to treasure the things she crafted for me. My late husband, her cousin Robert Shropshire, was excedingly fond of her, and we both enjoyed the visits with Pat. She was a special person.

Patience was a calming force back stage and a natural teacher. I will always remember her warm manner and gentle guidance.

This is Pat's favorite picture of herself at the Hutchinson summer cottage in Milford Conn wearing her "Pops" hat!

Pat was a delightful person who gave so much of herself to others, both through her work, her artistry and her lovely personality. I will miss her.

I spent many years working with Pat, She was a wonderful collaborator on theatre productions and lived up to her name.
