Not sure what to say?

Patty. I sure wish I would have had the chance to meet you. I know you heard about me and I was able to send you a couple of cards thanking you. well, Patty, I'd just like to send you a hug and the biggest thank you of all. Not only for bringing my best friend into the world. (Brian), but for being such an amazing person. I understand you gave completely selflessly and we're ALWAYS there for any of the kids at your school. you spent your time off going to games to support your kids, creating...

So sorry for your loss. Some of my best childhood memories were with the Aldertons house, at the beach. Just amazing how Pat really was the community Mom. My experience growing up would have been really different without you all -- Karin, Amy, David and Brian. I miss your mom greatly and will keep her in my thoughts.

I thank Pat for being an integral part of my youth. Your kindness, acceptance, generosity and unconditional love for your children and their friends I will always remember. My deepest condolences to the entire family and community that she had such a positive impact on. Rest in peace mama Alderton.

"Pat" was an awesome lady! Always happy, kind, and interested in what was happening. She was also a great mother and team mom. I will always cherish playing sports with Brian, going over to the house, and having those magical years at DD where Pat was always cheering on the SCOTS. Rest easy Pat you are one of a kind. Love and prayers to the family!

Pat was such a nice friend and neighbor, and liked by everyone. She is really going to be missed. We were so sorry to hear of her passing. And best of all she was such a good Mom! We send our sympathy to her family at this time. You all are in our thoughts and prayers. Love from Ed and Carol Smith, Kimila Orth and Kathlene Bays.

Thinking of your family as you grieve the loss of an amazing woman. I so enjoyed my years working with Pat at DDHS. And she so enjoyed telling me stories about her family. Her love for you all just twinkled in her eyes. She will be missed but her spirit will surely live on.

My condolences to the family for the loss of Pat! She was such a beautiful and sweet person. Pat displayed professionalism and dedication to her job every minute she was in her office. As busy as she was, Pat always made you feel like her number one priority when you walked through her door. I feel privileged to have known Pat. She was a genuine human being.

Pat was always so friendly and very helpful whenever I visited her office at David Douglas High School. I often spotted her at the community sports basketball games where at least one or more of her grandkids played and her son coached. She always had a beautiful smile and what made me smile is she wasn't afraid to tell you what was on her mind. I liked her honesty and I will miss her friendship. God Bless Her and God Bless the family. You are in my thoughts and prayers, Ernie.
