ALDRICH, Patricia A. – Of Flint, age 84, died Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Bentley Manor.



 



Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.



 



Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.



 



Those desiring may make contributions to the Humane Society of Genesee County.



 



Visitation 12 p.m. Wednesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.



 



Patricia was born in Flint, Michigan on September 13, 1931, the daughter of the late William and Leota (Haiss) Baker.



 



She loved dancing and golfing.



 



Patricia retired from the City of Flint.



 



Surviving are son, Derek Aldrich;



 



sisters, Evelyn Mills, Sharon and husband William Clark, Mary and husband Michael Baran;



 



many nieces, nephews and friends;



 



special friend, Diane Chema.



 



She was preceded in death by son, Donald Carey and loving grandmother, Josephine Haiss.

Patricia (Pat to us) is being missed everyday by myself and her Classmates. We still meet every month, about 6-8 of us and Pat is still with us in thought and prayers. My love to Pat, Norma Jean

Dear Derrick and Family,
I am sending our deepest sympathies to you and your family during this sad and difficult time. I am so sorry to hear of dear Pat's passing.
I have fond memories as children going up to Houghton Lake w/Derrick, Pat, my mom(Mary Hall Johnson)My brother, Bryan and my sister, Rhonda. You were just a little boy, Derrick... a cutie and so sweet! It was a fun trip!
Pat was beautiful, fun and a very spiritual person. I loved her!

So sorry for your loss. May the God of all comfort be with you during this difficult time.

Wonderful memories come flying into my head leaving me with overwhelming sadness but what good memories they are. All her beautiful jewelry that she would let me wear, her sweetness and caring nature, her drawings that always had
me in awe. My cousin had such a soft, kind and gentle soul. All our love to the Aldrich, Baker and Haiss family.

My sincere condolences to the Aldrich family. I hope that your fond memories will soothe you during this time of mourning. I hope that you will find comfort in the knowledge that the Creator of the Universe is keeping you in His thoughts (Jeremiah 29:11).

Pat was a very dear friend to me from the 4th. grade at Bendle School in Burton right through today. Loved Pat & her family, will miss her so much. Norma Taylor Pippin
