Not sure what to say?

May God's promise found in John 6:40, of the hope to see our loved ones again, comfort your heart and give you peace, strength, and hope in the days ahead.

Mrs. Allen was one of my most beloved teachers. As a freshman at MSJ, I took her English class where I found my best friend in high school, and honestly her class inspired such a love for reading and writing in me. One of my fondest memories is how on the last day of class, all the girls came in with her trademark bun and the smile that lit up her face. I had the good fortune to be one of Mrs. Allen´s English students in 1997/98 at Mission San Jose High School. She was my favorite teacher and inspired me to major in literature when I went on to college. I wrote my best essays in her class, many of which I still reflect on today. Though we didn´t keep in touch, her light continues to shine in my heart and in my mind. Sending deepest condolences to her loved ones. Suzy Necoechea

I still remember fondly to this day the Ashland trip she planned for AP English students. One of my favorite memories of high school. She will be missed. -MSJ Alumni 2011

Single Memorial Tree

I loved Ms. Allen tremendously. While it didn´t last, my brief time as an English major in college was largely inspired by my time in her class. I ran into her after graduating, where she met my future wife. It saddens me that I won´t have a chance to run into her again, where I can show her our kids. She had a meaningful impact on my life.
