Not sure what to say?

Dear Family, I've been praying for you as you mourn the loss of your beloved Pat. I believe I first met her when she was the western Missouri coordinator for the Missouri Association for Social Welfare (now called Empower Missouri. Over the next 20-plus years, I gained deep respect for her intelligence, knowledge, and total dedication to social justice for the most vulnerable people among us. She was also very kind to me when we would see each other at different MASW or nonprofit...

A soul mate The world and I will miss her dearly.

I loved sharing time and music with Pat. Loved the Pot Luck dinners and when she gave me a ride to Winfield. Such a big, caring heart.

I am so sad to hear of Pat's passing. I have been working with her over the last couple of years archiving all of the family photo albums. Her family was everything to her and I watched each sibling grow up through the very detailed scrapbooking of their mother. I would love to get in touch with the family when the time is right so I can pass on the work we did. My deepest condolences to all. Pat was a wonderful person and cared so much for everyone in her life.

Pat was one of the most remarkable persons I was lucky enough to call my friend. She was tolerant to a fault. I have known her since 1980 when I worked for her at the Jackson County Jail. She taught me the finer points of working successfully with criminals who were also just people. She was known for her good...

It was an honor to know Pat. She was one of the most tolerant people I´ve ever known. She accepted people as they were and was generous to a fault. If good works gets one into Heaven, then surely Pat is there now. She was one of my best friends and I already miss her greatly. It gives me great comfort to know that I will see her again someday.

Pat was my wonderful friend of these past 45 years. We were always doing fun things together. I miss her and will forever. She will always live in my heart. I´m so glad we were friends.
