Not sure what to say?

Ms. Batiste Brown was my Vice Principal at Jane Addams Jr Hi. I suspect I only spoke to her once, in the hall, as I was a kid that never made trouble and she was the VP, but I have never forgotten her. She was larger than life to me, and a role model as a strong, professional woman. I thought of her today, in 2018, and am sad to hear of her passing.

Ms. Batiste-Brown was my Social Studies teacher at Meany Middle School also. I will never forget her either. She was a fabulous young teacher then and I will never forget the times in her classroom.
She was so energetic, passionate about teaching and caring.

To Charles and the family of Patricia Batiste-Brown: Pat was an amazing person, a mentor and a talented quilter that will truly be missed. Pat showed me how to quilt and bind my first quilt. When I started my business The Art Brokeress, she was one of my biggest cheerleaders and my 1st art client... I can hear her saying to me... "Looka here...Deborah..." or just "Look" and she would preceed to make her point... Love you much Pat!! - Your Sistah In Christ,

Pat and I graduated from Southern and moved to Seattle at the same time. MY deepest sympathy to Charles and the family.
iRISH bLESSING TO Pat

Rain fall softly upon your fields.
and until we meet again may God keep you in the hallow of his hand.

To the family of Patricia: Pat was one of my dearest and best friends. I will remember the talent, time and means that Pat spent during her time here with us. Some precious attributes of hers were love, sharing, caring and and her attentiveness with her fellowman. I will cherish the friendship we had forever, her legacy will continue to live on and on, make no mistake she was a giver from the heart, which was experienced by many.
She always wanted others to shine, I remember her as the...

Pat was such friendly, supportive, caring, kind and very loving person. I will never forget her support she shared with me. Not enough wonderful words to decide her. Her spirit will be with me forever and ever. Yes she will be dearly missed. Every time I touch a piece of fabric, a quilt or just look at my sewing machine I will feel Pat in my heart. (Bernetta E.
