I am so saddened by this news. I always enjoyed talking to Pat at the University of Akron sporting events. She was quick to smile and give a hug. Love and prayers from the Hammond family.

I am saddened to hear about the passing of Pat. She was a pure joy to work with at The University of Akron as she assisted us at countless sporting and special events for more than a decade. She would always find me at what ever event we were working and always wanted to know how big my children were getting. Her heart was enormous. She was a very special woman. Forever in our hearts.

So sorry to hear of Patty's passing. I remember when Patty and Sean moved into the neighborhood on 10th St. in Cuyahoga Falls. Sean and my son became instant friends. I also appreciated the many conversations I had with Patty's Dad. I remember Patty's love for Halloween. She would disguise herself and sit motionless on her porch, waiting for kids to come up to get candy. She would jump out of her chair to scare them. We could hear her laughing from across the street! Patty was a lovely...

Very sorry to hear of Patty's passing. I remember when she moved into the neighborhood with her son, Sean. Sean and my son instantly became friends. I remember Patty's love for Halloween and how she would disguise herself, sitting motionless on her porch waiting for kids to come on her porch so she could jump up and scare them. Loved the many conversations I had with her Dad as well. Patty was a lovely and kind person and I think of her whenever I see her son or grandchildren.

Patty was a joy. We enjoyed our relationship with her as a neighbor while on 10th St and friend. She was a great Mom to Sean and grandmother to the kids. We have so many fond memories of her. She shared her family with us. She took care of her parents until their death. We were just happy to see her as worked at Blossom and showed us to our seats. She was special and will be missed. Sending our sympathy to the family. Love, Mary Rita and Michael

So very sorry to hear of Patty's passing. We went to St. Sebastian's together, and then Buchtel. We lived very close to each other; she on Emma and I was on Storer Ave. We hung out a lot and always had so much fun. She even introduced me to my husband. My sympathy to all of her family.
