As a student of Sister Daniel at SVA, I came to love the French language and even minored in it in college! Thank you, Sr. Daniel! Also, I will never forget that she was the moderator of the Junior Class and, at the time, THE HOP was a popular tune, sung by "Danny and the Juniors." So that became the nickname of our class!

I was warmly welcomed by Sister Daniel Margaret when I transferred from Lacordaire Academy to St Vincent´s. Way back in the very early 60s. She was bright, quick witted and an excellent teacher.
