Not sure what to say?

God be with you, Patricia

I knew Patricia since 1948. We met at a Quaker retreat, "Friendly Crossways" in Littleton, Mass. One thing lead to another and we started dating off and on until the summer of 1950. When we moved to Montpelier in 1973, I got a Vermont plate, "BENDA". Patricia recognized the name and we got together now and then.

I am so sorry to read of the passing of your mother. I hope that your fond memories will help you as your grieve your loss. May the passage at James 1:13 also give you comfort. Please accept my condolences.

So sorry to hear of Pat's passing. She was one great lady and dear friend of my mother's. I will always remember her kind and gentle ways. My sincere sympathy to all of the family.

To Pat's family: I so enjoyed Pat in the years I was a librarian in Fairlee, and was pleased that we were able to keep in touch since both our retirements through my renting books to Aldrich for their book discussion programs. I will miss her. She was a great lady.

I will never forget how insightful, inspiring, and kind Pat always was as she introduced Barre Learning Center students to the world of books at the Aldrich Library. The memory of her keen interest in each student and her dedication to promoting student book discussion programs throughout VT and NH will stay with me forever. She was a friendly champion who I admire and love.
My deepest sympathy to Pat's family and the Barre community.
