I was a classmate of Gay's at Newton Razor Elementary School and DHS Class of 1978. She was always so sweet. A beautiful child and later lady. My daughter and I bought vegetables from her family stand at Denton Farmers Market in the Texas heat. She was so gracious. I know she fought a brave fight with a rare cancer. She and her family sacrificed and she was treated at the Mayo Clinic. She and I spoke of this only two years ago. She loved her family deeply and was a very happy and proud...
