My most sincere condolences go out to Pat's family. Pat was a wonderful person, whom I enjoyed visiting with for years at NAAFA conferences. Each year we picked up our last conversation from the year before, danced, laughed and , as teachers always do, discussed schools and our students. I know the children of Jersey City will miss her greatly, whether they actually knew personally or not. Had she lived, she would have continued to work to give them the best educational opportunities possible.
