Not sure what to say?

Patricia was a member of our Ovarian Support Group, "Hope for Tomorrow" and it seemed a light bulb was lit when she entered the room. She was so positive and inspiring. We shall miss her, even though our time together was short. May you find comfort in family, friends and church family.

I worked with Jessica Shelley for a spell, and when Pat came in, she always, always brought a treat for those of us helping in the office. Although the behavior was routine for her, she delivered her literal and figurative gifts with sincerity and in silence, as though it was nothing. I had the pleasure and honor of working with Pat at Thompson Hine LLP as her assistant. Pat was a kind and warm person and she was beautiful inside and out. My deepest sympathy to her husband and entire family. Bernice McClellan

The world is a slightly better place because of Patricia Burgess; and she is deeply missed by those of us who had the privilege of sharing a significant part of our lives with her. I offer my sincerest condolences to her family and many friends.

In my thirty-plus years in Washington, D.C., I've worked with hundreds of consultants on various building-related projects. Patricia was the best of them: smart, productive, reliable, pleasant, interesting, fun. And a terrific writer. My heart goes out to her family and friends.

Patricia was an extremely wonderful person who combined courage and strength with love and caring. She was one in a "zillion" and will be missed by everyone she touched in her life. Cleveland is overcome with sadness.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

Patricia brought a bright light, warm and lovely, to everyone. Her grace and dignity are an inspiration to all of us. Deepest sympathy to John, Marc, Jack, Jessica and Joe, and the grandchildren and others to whom her passing leaves a deep void.

Patricia was a wonderful person and a dear friend. She was one of the most thoughtful and kind persons I have every met and I feel very blessed to have had her in my life.
