Not sure what to say?

What a lovely lady and wonderful life teacher. I was one of Patricia's undergraduate students at Dominican College in San Rafael. As the only female Religion professor at the time, she was a great inspiration - so bright and quirky, compassionate sensitivity, and a delight to spend time with. Grace abounding. I will miss her. My sympathies to Ronnie and the rest of Patricia's family.

I was fortunate in having two opportunities for interacting with Patricia--as a member of the El Cerrito Mid-Terrace Neighbors Association and through my membership on the Board of Trustees of the Graduate Theological Union. Her intellect, her spirit, and her deeply affecting personal attributes made even brief contacts with her a joyful experience. I welcome this opportunity to make a contribution to the GTU in her name.

My husband, Marvin, and I deeply regret having had to...

What can I say? The world was a brighter place while she was here. It is a little dimmer now.

I remember Patricia from some of the Gelston Place - Bay Tree Lane neighborhood meetings. This is yet another blow to our neighborhood, which has suffered several losses in the past few years. I hope you don't mind if I send out the memorial service information to the neighborhood e-mail list, and I hope several neighbors will attend.

Ronnie - you and Patricia took it upon yourselves to be our parents any time we visited with you and I will always be grateful for your love and caring. My heart aches for you but I know that you'll have many, many people around the globe keeping you lifted up in their prayers.
Thank you for loving my family as much as we loved Patricia and you.

Oh how I will miss my West Coast Mom as I called her. What great visits we had with Patricia and Ronnie. Life just won't be the same without her. Such a gracious and loving lady. Ronnie our thoughts and prayers will be with you daily.

Grace under pressure indeed. My Patricia handled her personal, professional life, illness and impending death with more Grace than I could ever muster. Some are more memorable than others. I will never forget my friend Patricia and will sing her praises by recounting her humor and wisdom to all who will listen. She was the classiest broad I knew, not just her quirky fashionable style, but in her manner of handling others with sensitivity and battling the bad luck that brought too early...

I am one of those people whose life was touched by Patricia, yet I doubt she ever knew my name! I just happened to see her obituary as I was scanning the newspaper the other day.

Until 2005, I worked in a clothing store on Solano Ave. where Patricia was a regular customer. The fact that I still remember her confirms how very special - beautiful inside and out - she was.

Clearly a mature, highly educated, professional woman, Patricia was still able to exude girlish...

I was an adult reentry student attending Dominican University in the 1990's. Patricia was on staff in the religion department when I decided to take a leap of faith and become a religion major in the face of the business major popular at the time. Patricia was an inspiration as the only female faculty in the department and I will always remember her many kindnesses.
