Not sure what to say?

How can anyone forget the unique individual that was Patt Jones. The lady in the pink cowboy hat who was not afraid to try the outrageous, like the time we broke her out of a convalescent hospital, visited the local Subway sandwich shop for a favorite treat, took a quick cruise around Redding, then zipped back to her room just in time for bed check, a high five, and a blood sugar test that was off the charts! I can still see that smile on her face and her pride in having pulled it off. Yes,...

Doing the bump with Bob. Thanks for the smiles Mom.

Remembering our Mom and friend...
Hard to believe that it has almost been one year.

Thanks to everyone who supported us with your love, prayers and support this past year.

TO EVERYTHING THERE IS A SEASON,
a time for every purpose under heaven.
A time to be born and a time to die;
A time to plant and a time to reap;
a time to laugh and a time to weep;
a time to kill and a time to heal;
a time to mourn and a time to dance...
a time to embrace and a time...

Here I am again, actually able to sneak a quiet moment. There's apple cider and cinammon in the air. The Christmas tree is up, wreath on the door, pretty twinkling lights outside, angels everywhere inside. All the cooking is done or prepared... ready to go. Everyone is busy, out and about... and I just can't believe you're not here this year Mom. Everytime I get blue tho' I somehow find myself singing a silly Christmas song. I'm just not myself! Could it be the presence of angels... again?!...

Missing you Mom during this time of year... my b'day, Thanksgiving, fall colors, cleaning out closets, baking pies, cozy sweaters, cutting down the Christmas tree, neat rain storms. Somehow I know you must be an angel looking down upon us because there has been a heavenly touch in all of our lives these past few months.

...just remembering Mom. JUNE -- always the excitement of school coming to a close, and all that summer had to offer. Mom was always the backdrop to the stability and happiness that I experienced. Daisies she loved... and I remember the fun summer outfits she picked out for Wendy and I, often times with daisy accents. What innocent, light, worry-free days she and Dad provided for us. Thank you Mom for being a part of my joy... then, and now on those days when I can let go of my sadness and...

Mom was in color, always, and she could turn any moment into a magical event. She passed that on to my beautiful wife, Wendy. Mom seems to be hiding around every corner in some thing that reminds us of her and her sentimental way. She is one who'll be here with us always - not to be over. We really miss her a lot.
I remember her in these pix today:

Mom is not in this physical world anymore, but she still has life. She is still alive inside of me. In a similar way, for nine months, I was once living inside of her. You see, Mom is present in everything I am, in everything I do, and in all that I will become. And, when it is my time to die, I will return to her loving arms, from whence I first came. In the meantime, I will try to remember the feeling of our last sweet embrace.

I will always love you, Mom. And I miss you...

I think of Patt as one whose sense of humor was both fun and helpful as we were growing up. Noreen and I always respected her great sense of adventure. She had the ability to pick up and move and find friends wherever she went. She and Jim raised two lovely children. Her memory will always be a part of our life.

God bless all the family,
Lee and Noreen Mason and family

Among the qualities I appreciated most about Patt were her humor and hospitality. I enjoyed joking and egging her on. She loved to laugh and was always ready for some good humored sparring. Thanks for the good times Patt...Bob
